HISTORY

Asheville Custom E-Bikes founder “Rex”, has been building and perfecting the artful systems of E-bikes since 2015. It first began as a hobby and way to get to his favorite fishing spots on Lake Berryessa in Napa Valley, CA. After assembling that first bike 7 years ago, it’s safe to say Rex got bit by the E-Bike bug. What started as a hobby is now his passion that is equally shared by his 3 man team. After moving to Asheville in 2017 to start a family, it became clear that there was an overwhelming demand and interest in his custom made E-bikes. He rode around the Mother Earth Fest with his gal on his bike and adopted 3 year old in town with a dream of building custom e-bikes for like minded individuals in the area. Asheville Custom E-Bikes are for all types of people, from thrill seekers who want a spiffed up custom bike, to someone looking to ditch the car on your commute to work or just someone wanting to get more active, we have the models to fit your wants and needs. Rex’s story and vision are amazing and what separates him from the competition. His first E-Bike was assembled in his living room and now we are a full fledged, locally own E-Bike shop located in West Asheville.
